Description
FOUNDATION OLMEC CLARO TORO CIGAR
The Foundation Olmec Claro Toro gives you rich flavour and real pedigree in one elegant toro. This cigar won Cigar of the Year 2022 from Cigars Lover Magazine. It also carries a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado. Foundation created Olmec to honour the ancient culture tied to the San Andrés tobacco region. As a result, this cigar feels special before you even light it.
This Foundation toro measures 6 x 52 and lasts about 60 minutes. Its 4/5 strength gives the smoke body, while it stays balanced. The wrapper uses San Andrés Claro tobacco. Then, Nicaraguan binder and filler build the core. Furthermore, each cigar is handmade in Nicaragua at A.J. Fernandez’s factory. The filler leaves come from Estelí and Jalapa and age in bales for three years.
That long aging helps the flavour feel polished and deep. At first, you get white pepper and fresh cedar. Then, toasted almond and honeyed malt begin to show. After that, light cacao, vanilla, and citrus zest brighten the smoke. Mineral notes and gentle leather guide the finish. The profile stays creamy, clean, and easy to follow.
Moreover, the toro shape gives this cigar more time to open up. The draw stays easy, and the burn stays cool. As a result, every note feels clear and steady. This balance is the cigar’s real edge. If you want a refined Nicaraguan toro with proven appeal, the Foundation Olmec Claro Toro makes a strong choice. It brings history, balance, and flavour together in a very satisfying smoke.
