The Foundation Highclere Castle Victorian Toro blends history with modern craftsmanship. Lord Carnarvon, Adam von Gootkin, and Nicholas Melillo of Foundation Cigar Company joined forces for this unique project. Using detailed records from Highclere Castle, they set out to recreate the cigars enjoyed there in the 19th century. These were the same cigars smoked by royalty, aristocrats, and political leaders during grand gatherings.
Rated 93 by Cigar Aficionado and placed in their Top 25 Cigars of 2020, this Toro offers elegance and depth. It features an upper-priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper in a rosado colorado shade, a rare Mata Fina binder, and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe.
